Why I've created an account
I've been an avid user of Wikipedia for years. Today I was inspired for the first time to create an account and join in. I was reading on the Watergate scandal page and found an unsourced claim that I really wanted to understand and find the source to. I did, then came back here and created my account.
To understand how to contribute to talk pages I scoured the Wikpedia help pages and beginners tutorials, then clicked on a user link to see their User pages. This user is named Edkollin and he has a very good argument (with many links on his talk page) for the creation of accounts - for accountability and commitment. Then found user Jokestress.
