Conrizzle represents the beginning of the 80's babies claim on the music charts. Conrizzle born out of his name Conrad and a native of Goldsboro, NC.

Conrad, made a name for himself on the music scene through a constant stream of hits that has major labels paying close attention. He released his debut album "Against the Speculation" during the summer of 2006, which spawned the hit single "Ride Slow".

Conrizzle is known for his infectious style and catchy lyrics. Using forums such as B.E.T. and Youtube as a springboard, "Against the Speculation" went on to sell 3,500 copies through direct sales via the internet.

The music video for "Ride Slow" which featured a cameo appearance from Young Money recording artist “Drake” went on to be featured on sites as blastro.com, myspace.com and countless online video channels. The single also caught the attention of program directors across the country. Having picked up BDS spins in various markets such as Phoenix, Miami, Washington D.C, Houston, and numerous others, Conrizzle is definitely more than a regional phenomenon.

Adding to the buzz created by radio, Conrizzle was chosen as a featured Nexxt Boost Mobile artist. "Ride Slow" was quickly introduced as a ring tone available on Ringtones.com along with numerous other carrier sites. As a favorite artist on XM Satellite Radio, XM 66RAW channel has continued playing Conrizzle's music as his fans from across the country have responded with a roar demanding more music.

Coupled with his talent on the mic, Conrizzle the producer is creating waves in the urban music scene with his uncanny ability to make hits. Having worked with 106 & Park Freestyle Champions, Loaded Lux and Nickelus F, Conrizzle's production is what initially attracted other artists to work with the young star. Chosen to be featured on the And1 Streetball Vol.9 DVD, Conrizzle hard-hitting drums and limited use of samples makes him a rarity in an era full of copycat artists and producers.

Conrizzle has worked with a wide array of artists from the east to west coast, Conrizzle's most widely heard production was "Alarm" a classic battle track that Jim Jones from Dip Set chose as a response to Jay-Z lyrical declaration of war.

This track allowed Conrizzle to be a part of the Street Dreams Tour during the summer of 2007 as part of Jim Jones entourage. In addition to working with Dip Set's Capo, Conrizzle's production caught the attention of 50 Cent as he was listening to a demo from an artist from Arizona. The end result was the signing of Young Hot Rod to G-Unit Records.

The future looks bright for this fast rising star. With the sophomore release of "A BREATH OF FRESH AIR" Conrizzle's single "Apple bottom" quickly set the airwaves and dance floors on fire. The record was officially serviced to radio stations at the end of July 2008, and has received numerous spins to date.

Conrizzle is also busy working on production for Nickelus F, Loaded Lux, Fam Lay, Reup Gang & Lots more. Con is dynamically creating a new style for music consumers tired of cliché rap music. Comparisons to Kanye West would make most artists nervous; however Conrizzle takes it as a complement to his variety and willingness to take risks with his music.

In December of 2007 Conrizzle wrote, produced, & performed the title track for the horror film “On Bloody Sunday” which starred the “Grindhouse” actor Danny Trejo.

Created the indie label “G5 Music Group LLC.” In January 2008 • Nominated for Producer of the Year award at the 1st annual Carolina Music Awards In Spring of 2008.

In the summer of 2008 Conrizzle released his first mixtape titled "The Suffocation" which is a prelude to his album "A Breath of Fresh Air", it is available for free download via his myspace and various other hip hop websites.

2010 sparked the inspiration for a new and improved era of music releases involving the G5 Music Group roster and Conrizzle. January 19, 2010 signifies the release date of Conrizzle’s highly anticipated sophomore album “A Breath of Fresh Air” this is the first of 4 to 5 projects that will be released via Conrizzle’s label “G5 Music Group” in a span of 6 to 8 months.

Also in 2010 Conrizzle has been nominated by the North Carolina Underground Music Awards for “Producer Of The Year” and has been elected to receive the “Carolina Honor” award along with Little Brother & Roc Nation recording artist J. Cole. The outlook for Conrizzle & his G5 Music family is bright, keep your eyes and ears glued to the rise of the young stars!
