This was a very poor decision on your part, as even a passing glance at the "sources" would have shown. Please don't do that again. --Calton | Talk 08:47, 28 January 2017 (UTC)

Schmidt provided a link to numerous news articles that covered the decisions of the film society. While I may or may not believe that these are enough to justify a keep, Schmidt had demonstrated that there were in fact untapped sources and had also put forth an argument for keeping and renaming that had not been considered. In these types of situations, I think it is perfectly acceptable to relist to accurately ascertain community consensus, and that this is preferable to deleting an article that could have been salvageable. Spirit of Eagle (talk) 20:51, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
The news links were to local newspapers -- WHICH WAS MENTIONED IN THE NOMINATION -- and the "nearly 2,000" Google Book results were complete and utter garbage. So the first was already considered and the second was inapplicable. Try using some judgement next time. --Calton | Talk 11:11, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
The nomination stated "Virtually no outside articles are cited to assert notability"; it mentions nothing about local news coverage. Furthermore, the claim that all of the linked sources are local is simply not true- I checked through a number of the linked news articles before relisting, and saw that several of them were from outside of the city and even outside the state. I'm not going to respond to any further messages, so I'd recommend pinging an admin if you still object to my relist (there should be consensus to delete now anyways). Thank you for all your work on the March for Science article! --Another Believer (Talk) 05:50, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited March for Science, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Washington. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Spirit of Eagle. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Edited comment

I noticed you edited on 8 December your already posted comment dated 21:45, 7 December 2017 (UTC), in the page Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Journal (episode). WP:REDACTED, which is a guideline, states, "even if no one's replied but it's been more than a short while, if you wish to change or delete your comment, it is commonly best practice to indicate your changes." Thinker78 (talk) 03:40, 9 December 2017 (UTC)

My edit was a minor clarification that did not change my argument in any way; the comment I made it to was not replied to. The AfD is already rather complicated (involving multiple points and interpretation of policies and divisions between the editors not in favor of keeping the article), and I don't want to clog the discussion up further by noting what amounts to a minor cosmetic change.
