Huggle edit
Hi Netalarm! When I do recent changes patrol (RCP), what I call “vandalism patrol,” I sometimes come across your edits/reversion doing the same sort of thing using Huggle. I installed Huggle on my system since I thought that it might make RCP easier. However, when I run Huggle, I cannot figure out how to use it to look only at recent changes made by IP-only (i.e., anonymous) editors. When I do RCP, I usually click on recent changes and then click on Hide logged-in users so that I see only the anonymous edits. I have looked at the Huggle manual and the Huggle feedback and cannot find anything to guide me in using Huggle in this manner. - Hi! Here's how to have Huggle show only edits made by anonymous users:
- Click on Queue at the top, and then select Manage Queues
- Select the queue you want to change (probably All edits)
- Click on the Filters tab, and then check the Anonymous user option
- But I should mention that Huggle only displays edits from users that are not on its whitelist, so any user that us not recognized as trusted by the software will have their edit displayed to be checked by other editors. So generally, I'd suggest leaving that on, but its up to you =D. Cya! Netalarmtalk 21:59, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
