Biography

edit

Steven Muskal obtained his B.S. (1988) in engineering chemistry with computer science from the Colorado School of Mines and his PhD in Chemistry in 1991 from the University of California, Berkeley. From 1988 to 1991 he was a research assistant to Kim Sung-Hou.

From 1991 to 1995, he served as an Applications Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Product Manager at MDL Information Systems. From 1995-2000, he served as the Director of Scientific IT (Research Computing)[2] and as a Unit Director at the Affymax Research Institute. From 2000-Present, he has operated in several different executive management roles within private startup companies including VP informatics and Chief Technology Officer at Libraria (2000-2003), Sertanty (2003-2005) [3], and Eidogen-Sertanty[4] (2005-Present).
