Dr. Daniels' received his Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science and Public Policy, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, University of Georgia[1], and studied quantitative methodology as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan[2]. He has held a number of academic appointments among them Oklahoma State University[3], University of Connecticut[4], and Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education universities (Indiana University[5] and Slippery Rock University[6]). Most of his research has been in public policy, with an emphasis on sustainable programs in health, human services and housing. His teaching has focused on graduate courses in public affairs, health policy, research methodology and quantitative analysis. Currently he is working in the medical field as a Board Certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MSN Gonzaga University). He has also worked as an RN in surgery, trauma, out-patient and in-patient mental health nursing (BSN Duquesne Univerity). Dr. Daniels works as a practitioner for underserved communities, as part of a clinic treatment team, and engages in program development and grant writing. He has conversational Spanish language fluency. He received his MA in Political Philosophy, and his BA in Political Science with undergraduate minor in Journalism. He is an FAA Licensed Private Pilot and has flown high performance and antique aircraft.
