Ocean of Diamonds (song) "Ocean of Diamonds" is a traditional bluegrass ballad, originally recorded by Jimmy Martin. The song describes the things a man would be willing to give a woman in exchange for her love, including "an ocean of diamonds or a world filled with flowers, to hold you closely for just a few hours."
The song has been covered by several country artists, including Scott H. Biram on 2002's "Preachin' and Hollerin'", Joe Diffie on 2010's "Homecoming: The Bluegrass Album" and Willie Nelson on 2010's "Country Music."
