The Shore Line Route (also referred to as Shore Line and officially designated as the Chicago Division) was an interurban line in the U.S. state of Illinois. Constructed between 1895 and 1899, the Shore Line Route was the original mainline of the Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad (North Shore Line) and its predecessor, the Chicago and Milwaukee Electric Railroad.

In 1955, passenger service was discontinued on the Shore Line Route and the line was abandoned south of Highland Park. The remaining 9.4-mile segment was thereafter reduced to a single-tracked branch line and utilized for freight service, as well as access to company facilities at Highwood, until the North Shore Line ceased rail operations altogether in 1963.

The right-of-way is presently utilized by the Robert McClory Bike Path and the Green Bay Trail.
