Uncomfortable is a song by American rock band Halestorm. The song was recorded in Rock Falcon Studios.[5] The song realeased a music video which was directed by Evan Brace.[6][5]

Background edit

The song is the first single from their 2018 fourth studio album, Vicious, Metal Injection stated that “it has all the ingredients for a great pop metal song that will surely be all over rock radio and SiriusXM Octane all this summer.”[4] When asked about the fan response to the new single, and whether the bandmembers get nervous every time they are about to release new music, Lzzy said:

"It's kind of like purgatory, because you've kind of released something, but it's not all out there and some people have heard it. And the weirdest thing, 'cause we do pre… You don't expect the worst, but you're prepared for the worst, 'cause you never know — you put out something [and] everyone could hate it; I don't know. But it's been overwhelmingly positive, and I'm still, like, 'Where's the catch? What's happening here?' There were even some [positive] comments on Blabbermouth, which never happens, so I was, like, 'What's going on here?' [Laughs] So, yeah, we're excited and a little nervous… [And once it's been made available] it's no longer ours anymore — it's out, it's released. We can't take anything back. Now it's here. And so, yeah — I can't wait."[7]

Vicious is the upcoming fourth studio album by rock band Halestorm. The album will be realeased in July 27, 2018 through Atlantic Records. The album has realeased three singles, and a video for the song “Uncomfortable”, which was directed by Evan Brace.[7][8] This album is the follow-up album from “Into The Wild Life”, which debuted at number five on the Billboard Top 200 chart.[9]

Singer Lzzy Hale commented to Blabbermouth:

"In my opinion, this is gonna be the first record… And we always says this, we hope we get better as musicians as we go on, with each record. But this is gonna be the first record where you can really hear all four corners of HALESTORM and what makes us a band. And if any of you have ever seen us live, I think this is the closest to what you see when you see us live. In a lot of these records that we put out, 'Okay, we have a catchy song, and I sing on it,' and then that's about it. So there's so many different layers to this record that I'm so proud to show everybody."[10]

Opening Fire: 2008-2014 is the first compilation album by American thrash metal band Power Trip. The album gathers songs that have never appeared in an album.[1] The album documents their self-titled 7” single, "This World" (from The Extermination Vol: 2 LP compilation by Flatspot Records), "Hammer of Doubt" (2010 version from America’s Hardcore LP compilation by Triple B Records), and the entirety of The Armageddon Blues Sessions. All tracks have been remastered by the band’s longtime producer Arthur Rizk with the release being rounded out by stunning artwork from Portland illustrator Matt Stikker.[2] Power Trip’s vocalist, Riley Gale commented in an interview with Revolver:

“So this digital package comes on Friday and the vinyl will come out eventually. We've got a single in the tank for Adult Swim that we're just kind of finishing up. We got an Outburst cover that's going to appear on their collection, but we're really going to just take it easy after that tour. We basically have been gone for about 12 of the past 16 months. So that's kind of the end of the cycle. We have a few odds and ends here and there in the U.K., South America and Australia. But for the most part we are all going to take some time away. We're really going to need some time away from each other.”[3]

Rotting Civilization is the debut album by punk rock band Septic Tank. The album will be realeased on April 13, 2018 through Rise Above Records. In an interview with Blabbermouth, Dorian said:

"We talked about doing it again many times, but it took us 20 years to make a record. Black Sabbath were doing their so-called last-ever show in Birmingham and Scott wanted to come over for that, so I suggested we got together and did an album while he was here. He stayed over for five days. 14 of the songs were already roughly written but not rehearsed, another eight or so came up on the spot and were recorded straight away, and that was it. It took us over 20 years but I'm really happy we did it."[5]
