Seth Horan is a a bassist/singer/songwriter from Buffalo, NY. He currently resides in Reno, Nevada. He performed his first professional concert in 1994-95 with the Miami rock band Jennifer Culture.

Seth Horan's next musical endeavor was in the rap/rock band Darwin's Waiting Room which he performed in from 1995-96. Darwin's Waiting Room is currently signed under MCA Records.

He next performed in 1997 with the RCA band Vertical Horizon Vertical Horizon.

Seth ended up leaving Vertical Horizon right before they had the hit song, "Everything You Want" (the #1 Billboard song of July, 2000). Billboard Hot 100

Seth began performing live shows as a solo singer/songwriter/bassist with only his bass as accompaniment in 1999. He was able to release his first solo album "...this is the session." in 2000.

After recording and releasing "...this is the session." he relocated to [Los Angeles, California|Los Angeles]].

After he released his album "Notwithstanding" in 2002, he ended up without a permanent address (mainly residing in his own car and in other touring musician's vehicles) from March 2002 until May of 2005.

In 2003, Seth Horan began to use effects pedals from integrating a digital delay/loop pedal into his songwriting and live performances. To this day he still has been known to use a Boss Corporationloop station.

His third release came in 2004, "Conduit".

In 2006, he began performing on behalf of Warwick (bass guitar) bass guitars. He began performing around the world (NAMM conventions, and performing as far away as Germany.) He would provide his musical services by combining mini-concerts with product information sessions in order to earn an endorsement from the company. That same year, Mr. Horan was awarded a grant by the Nevada Arts Council. The NAC awarded him a Fellowship for 2006-2007.

In 2007, Seth released "Happenstance", his fourth album.

Mr. Horan released his first DVD, "Between Two Oceans" in 2008. The DVD features songs and live footage collected from 2001-2007, and explores the progression of his music through the stages of his career.
