She is formerly the Managing Director of The Angels' Forum, a prominent Silicon Valley angel investing group. Kimberlie L Cerrone, J.D., M.S., M.B.A is also an active member of her community and avid volunteer. She has helped her husband The Young Adult and Family Center at UCSF which recently recieved $5 million in donations from the Helen and Charles Schwab foundation. Cerrone is married to UCSF Doctor Kim P. Norman, who has been featured in every edition of Best Doctors of America and America's Top Doctors. Norman who has recieved numberous awards for teaching and for his volunteer work, including the the coveted Henry J. Kaiser award for teaching. Cerrone and her husband currently live in San Francisco, California and have raised four children together. [3]

Cerrone earned a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois in Biochemistry and an M.S. degree in Biochemical Pharmacology from New York University. She also earned an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco and was admitted to the National Beta Gamma Sigma Society. She graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Cerrone is the authored countless articles and book chapters on patenting and licensing strategies. <Kimberlie serves on several business advisory boards of both high tech and life science companies, and is a director or trustee of several for profit and nonprofit organizations. She is currently consulting to a few Fortune 500 companies as well as advising several venture-backed startup companies.
