Adichunchanagiri Wildlife Sanctuary
editAdichunchanagiri is one of the prominent spiritual Math around Bangalore and near Nagamangala taluk Mandya District Karnataka. This is situated around rocky hill and is about 115 Km west of Bangalore. Very close to this Math is 0.88 sq.km. scrub forest along with plantations with an motive to conserve Peacocks. Adichunchanagiri was declared as a sanctuary in 1981 and Other animals that are commonly spotted are fruit bat, jungle cat, mongoose and hare. This sanctuary is easily approachable by road via nagmangala and then via Nelligere.
Adichunchanagiri Wildlife Sanctuary is located at latitudinal range 12º 55’ to 73º 0’ N and longitudinal range 76º 40’ to 76º 45’ east.
