About Me
I am Christopher Turner, a Canadian musician currently studying music business at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. My principal instrument is the electric guitar, however I have played classical piano since the age of four. I have studied with guitar virtuoso Dave Martone, and have passed grade ten in the Royal Conservatory of Music with piano. I'm interested in a wide variety of musical genres, but am specifically well-versed in heavy metal and classical music.
My Music
I currently compose rock and metal music with my band, Ornamentality. We are a three-piece band determined to incorporate elements of various genres into metal to set ourselves apart from today's bands. Ornamentality specifically fits into the thrash-metal genre, which includes some of the largest metal bands in the world; Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer. Previously, I have played in a soft-rock band, metalcore band, rock and roll band, and various cover bands.
