In real life, Shizoomy works as a web developer for the U.S. Department of State, designing blogs, wikis, and other collaborative, customized media to support the U.S. diplomatic mission.
Shizoomy is also in the process of earning her Master's degree from Georgetown University in the program of Communication, Culture & Technology.
