Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a cryptocurrency useful for online payments that was launched in 2017. It is faster and cheaper to use than the original Bitcoin. Many of its designers, developers and supporters intend for it to replace traditional fiat currencies through disintermediation as digital money as intended by Bitcoin's inventor Satoshi Nakamoto.

Bitcoin Cash is easily substituted for Bitcoin. It solves the self-confected bitcoin scalability problem using on-chain scaling. According to Cointelegraph, Bitcoin Cash is Bitcoin's most successful spin-off and its adoption by investors was quick. In March 2018, Bitcoin Cash enthusiasts gathered in Tokyo for the Satoshi’s Vision Conference where the main themes were scaling, tokenisation and adoption.
