About me!

I've been photographing since 2004 or so. I enjoy cars, metal, firearms, anime, and animals, particularly mammals. I also enjoy pot-holing links to other articles on my user page, as you can see.
My username is a portmanteau of Shiba Inu and Subaru Impreza. It is also a pun on a famous line from Fist of the North Star.

My Cameras

Cameras I've used over the years.

• Sharp Digital ViewCam VL-SD20 - My original camcorder, used from 2000 to about 2012. Still works, but you can't exactly get tape as easily these days!
• Vivitar ViviCam 3715 - used until 2012.
• Vivitar ViviCam 25 - only used in 2012. I call it "PotatoCam 2000"
• Jazz JDC77 - used only in 2014. EXIF data read as a game camera.
• Sony Cybershot DSC-W830 - used from 2014 until 2018. I discontinued use as I began to dislike the feel of the camera.
• Nikon Coolpix P530 - used since 2015 and my go-to camera.
• GoPro Hero 4 Session - on and off use since 2016
• Samsung Galaxy S5 - yes, it's not a camera, but I still get some use out of it. Since 2017.
• Sony Handycam HDR-CX240 - new camcorder, used for videos as the P530 is very slow in the zoom department. Since 2017.
