Sharon Flynn

Hi, I'm Sharonlflynn on Wikipedia.

I live in county Galway, in the West of Ireland. I'm originally from Dublin. I studied Mathematics and Computer Science at University College Dublin, and I have a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow

I work in Higher Education in Ireland, mainly in academic staff development. I have a particular interest in using technology to support teaching and learning.

Wikimedia Activities

Following a presentation demonstrating the potential benefits of Wikimedia in education, I became a member of the Wikimedia Community Ireland User Group. I am particularly interested in using Wikimedia to support teaching and learning activities in higher education.
