Shanike Johnson Caribbean Author ... (born June 28,1994) is a young Jamaican author of fiction, non-fiction and short stories. She has been a writer since 2011, She has successfully written and illustrated two fiction short story books for kids; Keturah-Princess of the Caribbean (April 15,2017) and Adventures of Tyler & Derek(May 6,2017). Shanike is the second child and first girl born of four siblings in a little town in Kingston, Jamaica. she lost her parents at the age of 10. Attended and graduated from The Queen's High School for Girls. She completed her first adult novel, Amanda's Diary, in secondary school and today rewriting to be published. She spent most of her adult years living in different parts of the country and working in the hospitality/tourism industry. She currently works as a Receptionist/Administrator at one of the best business class hotels in Kingston, Jamaica. Shanike had always had a love for writing. She started out writing poems in Primary school then later advanced to writing fiction and non-fiction novels.
