In "Power" is starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent (Smallville), Chloe Sullivan Clark's best friend, portrayed by Allison Mack as well as Cassidy Freeman as Tess Mercer, who is looking for Lex Luthor. "Power" is directed by Allison Mack, produced by Miles Millar and Alfred Gough and written by Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer. [1]

Clark is watching a video showing Lana breaking up with him, because he wants to make sure that she left him for reason. He is convinced that he has developed to his and everybody's advantage, he started a professional carreer in Metropolis and improved his powers to help those who needed help.

Clark goes to see Lana in her apartment, but finds Tess Mercer there in stead.

Lana has been abducted and the men that took her want to convince her that Lex Luthor only wanted the best for her. Lana is convinced that Les has been watching her, since she has recovered.

Clark is interrrogating s.o. about Lana's past and he tells Clark how he trained Lana to get power and strength.

Lana is brought into a laboratory and the Prometheus suit is applied to her.

Tess is talking to a Luthorcorp representative who wants to find a technology to save Lex, not to destroy Lex. Tess replies that she wants to let come true what the world believes anyway, that Lex is dead. Tess kills the man in one of the following scenes.

Chloe knows that Prometheus is program developed by LuthorCorp.

Clark discovers a videotape where Lana is interrogating Dr. Gill who developed the Prometheus program which enables Lex to become a "God under Men" with "ultimate powers" when wearing the Prometheus suit. Dr. Gill denies any suspicions on Lex Luthor's intentions.

Tess breaks in the laboratory where the Prometheus suit has been applied to Lana, in accordance to Lex Luthor's will, as Dr. Gill says to Tess. Tess replies that Lana is supposed to be a killing machine and she does't worry about her death, when the Prometheus suit is taken off of her. In the moment when Tess is shooting on Dr. Gill, who is standing in her way, Lana stands up and stops the bullet from hurting Dr. Gill, thus saving his and her own lives.

Later Lana appears in Tess' apartment and gives her the advice not to be a victim anymore, adding that she is speaking as a friend.

Lana says to Clark that she is prepared to bear the powers that the Prometheus suit is giving to her. Nevertheless Clark Is worried, he doesn't want that she gets hurt.
