editClark and Lois get trapped in the Crystal of Knowledge and are transferred in the Phantom Zone. Chloe discovers the left over Crystal and hides it before Tess Mercer stands behind her, making inquiries about the Crystal that has been stolen from her. Chloe is deeply worried about Clark's and Lois' disappearance, when Davis Bloom suddenly appears.
Lois is being attacked and when she falls to the ground Clark recognizes Kara being the attacker. She explains that she didn't want to leave the Phantom Zone because she was afraid that other Zoners would escape when she opened the portal. She adds that Lois should be better to fight. Chloe shows Oliver the Crystal and wants him to steal the generator that powers it from Tess Mercer.
Kara sends Lois through the portal, but a Zoner can also escape.
When Lois returns she tells Tess that she is the wife of General Zod and is now looking for her son. When she meets Chloe and sees a photograph of Davis Blomm, she immediately recognizes him as her son.
When trying to steal the generator Oliver in his disguise as Green Arrow is surprised by Tess Mercer. Oliver immobilizes her temporarily with one his arrows.
Chloe turns to Brainiac and succeeds in keeping the portal open until both Clark and Kara can flee the Zone.
Meanwhile the possessed Lois tries to convince Davis Bloom that he would evolve into the ultimate destroyer. She tears das Gelaender apart and stabs him in the stomach before she leaves. In the end Kara leaves the town.In the Phantom Zone Kara attacks Lois and Clark before she finally recognizes them.
