Andrea Mundaka (born 15 November 1991) is an Spanish/American actress, film director and producer. Grew up in San Antonio Texas. Born to Maria Dolores Martina Meral Hanan (a known painter) and Narciso Rodriguez Fernandez (a business man). Her great grandmother Loris Badri was Miss Lebanon at the begining of the 1900s. Andrea Mundaka is half Spanish (Luarca, Asturias) and half Lebanese. She has 5 brothers and 3 step-brothers. Her parents divorced when she was 8 years old. Her brother Luis Mundaca is a publishedpoet and philosopher. She started belly dancing at the age of 5 and started taking acting lessons at age 10, although she already acted for her family friends when they would go visit. She moved to Barcelona to study acting, film making and production at the UACE BCN. Graduating top of her class, her last year of university she started working on the project “El Olvido” as the main actress, assistant director and producer of the film.
Career
editAndrea Mundaka has participated in several productions in Theatre, TV and Film.
She did a brief incursion into modelling during her highschool years in 2008 and 2009.
In the festival Arte Activa Fest in 2012 in Barcelona she was casted as the protagonist in the play A l’interieur.
She is the main character in the upcoming film El Olvido.
