Stoppit is a pool team collective formed from the ashes of The Griffin A. The current team is captained by Scott Araya, 2009-2010 team features: Adam Bristoll, Elliot Guy, JJ Odonnell, Danny Odonnell, John Erskine, Lee Bryant and Simon Underhill.

The team started playing in the Redditch & District Pool League in 1990 under the stewardship of Joe Manchip. Having started in the lower leagues they gradually worked there way up to the Premiership where they currently reside. Notable players from their time at the Griffin include Barry Manchip, Dave Mccammon, Andy Dixon.

Following the closure of the Griffin Stoppit were forced to move and played a season at the Kings Arms. Although proving successful match wise the decision was made to move to league headquarters, the Woodrow due to poor playing conditions. The season spent at the Kings Arms became a turning point in the teams history. Having started with youth prodigies; Zak Taylor, Dan Brazil & Brandon manchip, supporting so many players became impossible and the aforementioned players requested transfers; thus creating a new team. The season finished memorably when Stoppit were pipped to their annual runners-up position by the newly fomred team.

A new season at League HQ with our own table and room beckoned. Another modestly succesful season wass accomplished; a first visit to the Sponsors Cup final being a highlight. In transition having lost Ian Roberts to retirement and the transfer of Tom Hamilton the team sometimes struggled to cope with a lack of players

Stoppit have represented the league twice at national level
