Coca-Cola Silver Art Bars A collectible, 1 oz silver art bars, have become extremely popular with the recent rise in silver prices. Specifically, the Coca-Cola Silver Art Bars have shown to command significant prices in some cases. These art bars (or ingots) were created in the late 1970's and the early 1980's as a tribute to various bottler's 75th anniversary. A comprehensive book has been written by Thomas A. Mock as a detailed guide to these collectibles. The 2nd and most recent version of Mr. Mock's Guide Book was released in January, 2009. Since that release, this hobby has taken off. Current listings on Ebay have shown asking prices upwards to $3,900 for a single 1 ounce bar. Not all the bottlers participated and the ones that did utilized different mintage numbers for the production. The majority of the bars were made by the World Wide Mint (which is no longer active). The fewer the production mintage, the more rare and more valuable the bar. Most of the bars contain a serial number which was engraved on the side of the bar by the World Wide Mint.
