Pathéscope, or The Pathéscope Company of America, Inc. was a film production company active in the early 20th century, notable for producing their own form of 9.5 mm film, and their wide distribution of educational movies. The company's organizer and chief executive Willard B. Cook formed the company in 1912.[1]

History edit

Cook was previously known for his construction of projectors and film showing equipment and even before the launch of Pathéscope, he had acquired a great collection of "educational" films.
