New Dredging Law edit

A 2020 agreement between the US Army Corp of Engineers and the state of Louisiana gives 250 million dollars into a dredging project to increase vessel size and output of goods in and out of the Gulf of Mexico. The New Orleans port will gain a 4,000 TEU capacity.[1]

After the BP oil spill the prosecutions, goal was to shape the general public's perception about environmental crimes while making an example of BP persuading other oil companies to not follow the carless acts of BP.[2]
