Alathurpadi Dars is a renowned educational institution in Kerala, known for its preservation of traditional values while integrating modern advancements. With over 200 students, this esteemed dars system maintains its unique identity and upholds the cultural heritage of the region. Commonly referred to as Podiyad Dars by locals, the institution is situated in Podiyad, Melmuri, a historical area within the Malappuram district.

Throughout its history, Alathurpadi Dars has hosted lectures by numerous prominent scholars from Kerala, such as Khilafat movement leader Nellikut Ali Musliar, Samastha founding member Aripra Moitheen Haji, Kidangayam Ibrahim Musliar, and Kutty Musliar. The institution's reputation has been further enhanced by the contributions of K.C. Jamaluddin Musliyar and countless other scholars.

Following the tenure of the late KC Usthad, the dars has been led for twenty years by a distinguished mudarris who serves as a Member of the Samasta Kerala Jamiatul Ulema Kendra Mushavara, General Secretary of the Samastha Kerala Jamiatul Mudariseen Malappuram District, and recipient of the prestigious Late Syed Muhammad Ali Shihab Thangal Award for Best Mudaris.
