SalaRollins is the first and henceforth only alias of an Island Canadian girl who enjoys big books, fine Maritime dining, and leisurely ocean adventures. She attends Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick and is currently in her second year, studying Geography and Anthropology.

The alias "SalaRollins" derives from two of her literature favorites: Stieg Larsson's striking heroine Lisbeth Salander from his Millennium Trilogy, and author James Rollins. Both individuals, fictitious or not, SalaRollins admires and is entertained by in one manner or another, whether it be reading stories of Miss Salander's virtual deviance and deathly Swedish detours, or tales of Rollins' characters trekking through tertiary Amazonia.

SalaRollins has contributed much to the content of Wikipedia's Envirothon article. She has a passion for this environmental competition, as she participated in it herself, her team representing their home Province for three consecutive years at the North American Envirothon competition.
