Stephen Stone is a Jonesboro, Arkansas native. He began writing poetry in the sixth grade, which led him to experimenting with writing song lyrics. His love for the arts eventually propelled him to the theatre, where he was very succesful, getting the lead role in "The King and I", and getting a scholarship to the American Musical Dramatic Academy in the heart of the upper west side of Manhatten.
After school, Stephen experamented with many other occupations. including joining the Navy, and becoming a entraprenure in the landscaping buisness. But songwriting was always his one true passion.
Stephen decided to persue a degree in Recording Engineering at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, Calafornia. He then returned home, built a recording studio, and began writing and performing music. His passion ultimatley landed him in Nashville, Tenessee. Where he played local gigs like Soulshine Pizza, a prominent starting point for many popular artist. He has worked dillegently with many talented singers and songwriters in the Nashville circuit to sharpen his musical abilities. Since then he has been playing locallly from California to Tenessee and everywhere in between, constantly learning and loving the music scene. He is a regular at The Bunganut Pig, Uppercrust Pizza, Skinny j's, and has even performed at Carnegie Hall multiple times!
Stephen Stones' mission is to live a life devoted to serving other through deep emotion, melody, music, and lyrical passion through the art of songwriting. He is quoted as saying "Music is how feelings sound".
