Dario Vittorio Meadows (born 28 January 1999) is an Italian-English footballer who plays as a right winger for Leeds United Reserves on loan from Roma Primavera. Although he predominantly plays as a winger, Meadows has also played at full-back and in attacking midfield. He has also represented Italy at under-16 level.
Early life
editMeadows was born in Tunbridge Wells, Kent to an Italian mother and an English father. The family moved to Italy when Dario was six-years old and have lived in Rome since.
Youth career
editMeadows is a product of A.S. Roma's Primavera squad.
Leeds United Reserves (loan)
editOn 26 August 2016, Leeds United confirmed the signing of Meadows from Roma on a season-long youth-loan. He is expected to be available for both the under-18 and under-23 squad.
International career
editHe received a first call-up from former player and current Italy under-16s / Italy under-17s coach Daniele Zoratto. On 9 September 2014, at 15 years, 7 months and 12 days, Meadows debuted for the Italian U16 side in a friendly. To date he has played 9 matches in total for the under-16s (all friendlies).[1]
