Hello! I am a Wikipedia editor. My main focus is on language tagging of CJK languages (see Han unification) for why I am doing so.
Many Wikipedia articles have CJK characters that are unformatted with regards to language tags. This causes problems as different computers have different default settings for CJK characters. For example, the computers I use tend to default to Chinese (Simplified), i.e. Xin Zixing. This means that unformatted Japanese text appears "wrong". Other computers may be set to default to Japanese; those will see Chinese text wrongly.
