Dwi Noviratri Martoatmojo(born in Jakarta, 30 November 1969; age 49 years old), also known as Ira Koesno, is a Indonesian broadcaster. She was once brought Liputan 6, a news service from a TV broadcasting station SCTV.

Early life

Ira was a daughter of Koesno Martoatmodjo and Sri Utami. After finishing her studies at Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Indonesia, she works at a public accountant company, when she reached 25 years old. A year after, in 1996, she applied a job at SCTV as a reporter. Ira achieved an Master of Arts degree in Film and Telvision production at University of Bristol in the year 2000, and achieved an Master of Arts degree in international Journalism at Westminster University a year after.

Career

After the end of the orde baru regime, as a reporter of SCTV Ira has an opportunity to do an interview with Sarwono Kusumaatmadja, who at that time still serves as a Minister for Environment. In this interview, Sarwono still be able to say a term "tooth extraction" which refers to a request so that President Soeharto steps down from office. This event still be able to be called by the highest executive of SCTV and request not to do journalistic activities for a couple of days. In 2003, Ira decided to quit from the world of television and set up a business that is engaged in communication strategy services, Ira Koesno Production (IKPro).
