I am currently a sophomore at Truman State University. I am studying to become an Interdisciplinary Studies major, with this I hope to go on to Graduate School where I plan to become a Midwife. In the future I hope to do Doctor's Without Borders or the PeaceCorp. My major goal in life to leave a hand print on the world, make it a better place in some way.
My mother's claim to fame is that she breast feed her children "liberal milk". I have been involved in the political world since 92' with the first Clinton/Gore election. Ever since then my parents have both taught my siblings and I to look out for those less fortunate. Now that I am "grown-up" I carry on this message my parents taught me. I seek to help those that have no voice in this world. My hope is that through medicine I will be able to reach to people that would have other wise have no one.
