My name is Ross Arlen. I am a student at Rice University, majoring in Religious Studies/Medieval Studies/Philosophy. I am interested primarily in the religious history of Northwestern Europe from prehistoric times to the medieval period, especially concerning pagan/earth-centered ideologies and their later interaction and assumption into Pauline Christianity. I am also very interested in Theology, Iconography and Symbology, Heritage/Genealogy, Philosophy, Historical Linguistics, Art History, Monastic religious practices, and music, among other things. I love engaging in debates with intelligent people, and I find great satisfaction in having my opinions challenged and changed by great argumentation.
