Rolf Fredrik Anderson is a son of Eleanor and Leroy Anderson. Rolf was born and raised in Woodbury, Connecticut. Along with other family members he manages the estate of Leroy Anderson, the American composer and maintains Leroy Anderson's official website, leroyanderson.com as well as the official website of the Leroy Anderson Foundation, leroyandersonfoundation.org

Rolf Anderson is a conservationist, educator and photographer who lives in Montgomery, Vermont. He was a co-founder of the Hazen's Notch Association, a non-profit environmental education center and conservation land trust in Montgomery. Rolf Anderson teaches French. Rolf Anderson is a photographer who has exhibited in numerous galleries in Vermont.
