Battlefront is an award-winning youth campaigning TV show and website created by Raw Television for Channel 4 in the United Kingdom.

Overview

Battlefront took campaigns from 20 young British campaigners and followed them online and on television as they attempted to make a difference. The various campaigns gained a vast amount of media coverage in the UK and the various campaigners won audiences with representatives from the British government such as Gordon Brown and Ed Balls. The campaign subjects included: anti-gang violence, organ donation, random acts of kindness, micro charity, traffic calming and the promotion of music in Iraq.

Television Show

Series 1 of Battlefront featured 5 episodes of 30 minutes. The television shows originally aired on Channel 4 in the education slot. Each show featured a different campaign strand with the final show featuring a roundup and footage of the Battlefront event at which the campaigners submitted their ideas of British Government representative Ed Balls.

Battlefront has won a Digital Emmy, and been nominated for a BIMA and for two BAFTAs.
