Background edit

Ohlala started training in classical and modern dance at age 4. By age 16 she was studying with French theater director Jean Claude Cotillard. After moving to Los Angeles, in 2012, she founded the "French cabaret"[3] show Cabaret Versatile for American audiences,[4] which Backstage described as "faithful to the original essence of French cabaret"[5] and BroadwayWorld described as "a charming, delightful tale, filled with laughter, gorgeous girls, feathers and sparkle galore, and dancing; lots of dancing!"[6] Her show "Carpe Noctem" was awarded "Best Cabaret & Variety Show" at the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Fest.[1][7] Arts Beat L.A. described it as "an intimate evening of authentic French Cabaret dance numbers with a little comedy".[8] She records French language songs for movie writers in Los Angeles,[9] her song "L'amour est pour la jeunesse" was included in an episode of the TV show "Imposters".[10]

She is also a kindergarten teacher in Los Angeles.[11]
