ISO-Enamel

edit

ISO-Enamel is a wet cast, self reinforced material made by mixing special minerals and resin. Used in the specialist production of bath tubs.

ISO-Enamel looks very much like Vitreous Enamel that was traditionally used to manufacture cast iron baths. However compared with Cast Iron or other cast resin baths, ISO-Enamel has some very unique features. Unlike cast iron, the material is not cold to touch & insulates the bathing water, maintaining the water temperature for longer. It has a glossy texture to the touch and ISO-Enamel is significantly lighter than Cast Iron.

To prevent fragmentation in between base material & the enamel, the ISO-Enamel is chemically fused to the structural bath material.

Due to ISO-Enamel being wet cast, it is an extremely versatile material, providing the ability to create tight curves and angles.

As ISO-Enamel is self reinforced, it does not require further strength.

ISO-Enamel is a durable & hardwearing material, which is scratch & chip resistant. It is also chemically resistant, allowing cleaning with modern products without concern of discolouration.
