I have made only a few edits to Wikipedia articles, some with only an IP address, and none of them consequential.

I have written and edited numerous articles for the public wiki of a commercial genealogy web application. (My user page there) I also do a good bit of low-tech development (PHP, MySQL, JScript, JQuery, CSS) for that application, which I use to display my genealogical data on my own website. FWIW, I'd dearly love to write some plugins for that wiki, but I'm not (yet?) up to speed on the necessary tools and programming technology such as ooPHP. Sigh.

My motto: If it ain't broke, I'll fix it!

A metaphor for my work life: A kid sees a friend at school and says "I saw you walking your bike to school this morning. Did you have a flat tire?". The friend responds, "No, I was just running so late that I didn't have time to hop on."
