Wolong Electric Group Co. Ltd. is a Chinese company, which is the business of manufacturing and selling electric motors. The company is based in Zhejiang Province. [1] Wolong is listed on the Shanghai stock exchange. [2]
Wolong Electric is owned by its parent, Wolong Holding Group. [3]
Wolong Holdings bought 98% of Austrian-based (but multinational) electric motors manufacturer ATB for 100 million EUR from its insolvent parent, A-Tec in October 2011. This acquisition was the first outside China for Wolong. It added more than 3000 employees to its workstaff of 6000 and is now present in 5 European countries: Austria, UK, Germany, Serbia, Poland.
