Michael Dominic Dorsey (born January 6, 1949) is an American laywer running for a seat in the US Senate for the State of Illinois as a write-in candidate. Before his retirement in January 2009 we worked as a lawyer for Caterpillar, Inc. in Peoria, Illinois.
Biography
Dorsey was born January 6, 1949 to Roman Catholic parents in the rural community of Penfield, Illinois. The son of a farmer, William Dorsey, and a hardworking mother, Genevieve Dorsey (m. Buck), Dorsey and his brothers were encouraged to persue higher education so that they might have "easier"[1] lives than their parents.
