My name is Rich Strand and I'm a Government and International Politics major at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. I served for 10 years in the United States Navy and am currently an employee of the federal government. I'm originally from New York City and graduated from Bayard Rustin High School for the Humanities in June 1996--one of NYC's finest public high schools...yeah..ok.. ;) Anyway, I received my Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Strayer University in June 2006 while serving on active duty. Now that I've finished my service, I'm enjoying the relaxing civilian life and being a Junior at GMU.
