Cycle to Cannes is a registered UK charity (no.1122230), founded by the cyclist and architect Peter Murray in 2006 to raise funds and to promote sustainable transportation networks and urban cycling. Cycle to Cannes organises an annual endurance cycle ride for property industry professionals[1] visiting the MIPIM convention in Cannes as a sustainable alternative to flying to the south of France. The first ride in 2006 consisted of 17 cyclists. In 2010 85 riders took part, raising £172,000 for charity.
