Nina Don, (born Feb 2, 1982) is a [Korean]-[Swedish]-[American] singer and occasional songwriter. Born in [Seöul] [Korea].

Don was an abandoned child, and at 3 weeks old, she was found on the steps at the local police station in a cardboard box. After a few months in a [Seöul] orphanage she was adoped by a [Swedish] family. Her father was a cantor in the local church and her mother a chior singer. At the age of 2 she was singing perfect harmonies, and at 4 she was their youngest solo member. She won numerous talent shows before becoming a teenager and toured extesively with different music groups and shows. Performances for television, radio, music festivals, churches, weddings, funerals, birthday parties, fashion shows was on her weekly schedule before becoming a teenager.

She was later approached by different producers like [Anders Bag] ([Celine Dion], [Jennifer Lopez], [Janet Jackson], [Madonna], [Jessica Simpson] who wanted to record songs for her. Don started recordings with different producers but due to falling ill she stopped recording and performing.

Don started a music company that were catering to local talents. Within a short period of time the company had a staff of over fifteen full time employees. Don recieved the award for "[The Best Entrepreneur Of The Year]" given out by the mayor from the local town council.

She was then drafted by a independent publishing company to work as a creative manager. She immediately placed songs for various pop idols and artists spanning the globe that were selling gold and platinum status. Don then transferred to [NYC] while working with several international recording artists. They told her that she should pursue her singing career.

Don started to record again. The 1st recording [Optimistic] lead to a release on the compilation [Massive Dance Hits] released by Time Life in 2006. Her song Optimistic were along side artists like [Simply Red], [Deborah Cox], [Daniel Bedingfield], [Crystal Waters], [Ultra Naté], [Everything But The Girl], [Seal] under her name [Nikkie D]. Opimistic was also released on compilation [Move Your Body] [Ultimate Dance Hits] together with [Melanie C], [Dannii Minogue], [Sting], [Erik Prydz], [Sonique].

In 2006 NY Radio station [Spin FM] heard some of Nina Don’s songs and added the song Human on their playlist. It rose to number 1 on the charts and stayed there for 10 weeks. Then in [2007] she was also voted [Artist Of The Year] by [Spin Radio Awards].

Don's music is influenced by various genres, which range from [pop] and [soul] to [gospel] and [classical music].
