A good example of a stub-class article. Seven Mile Ford, Virginia.

Also, take a look at this page for help on stubbing.

Tables

edit

You asked for some help with tables.

First, I'd recommend going to this page and reading how to make more advanced tables.

Here is the basic code for a table.

{| border="1" cellpadding="2"
|-
|width="100pt"|Column 1
|width="200pt"|Column 2
|width="300pt"|Column 3
|-
| Example under Column 1|| Example under Column 2|| Example under Column 3
|-
| Example under Column 1|| Example under Column 2|| Example under Column 3
|}

It will look like this:

Column 1 Column 2 Column 3
Example under Column 1 Example under Column 2 Example under Column 3
Example under Column 1 Example under Column 2 Example under Column 3

CellPadding-how thick the Cells are. (Pixels)

Border-How many pixels wide the border is.

You can experiment on this page if you'd like. ṜέđṃάяķvίʘĨїήīṣŢ Drop me a line 12:55, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

AutoWikiBrowser is a semi-automated Wikipedia editor. You can set it so it will spell-check the articles, fix spacing, categorize it, etc. It does repetitive tasks much faster. ṜέđṃάяķvίʘĨїήīṣŢ Drop me a line 12:52, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

I am currently being coached about DYK by Royalbroil. Do you know anything about this part of wikipedia? Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk | Sign 12:27, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

References

edit

Can you tell me about citing sources and in what way you have to write/format them within <ref> </ref> . Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk | Sign 12:27, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello?! Do you still exist???? Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk | Sign 11:49, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes, although I am at multiple violin camps, so I will be on very rarely. ṜέđṃάяķvюĨїήīṣŢ Drop me a lineReview Me! 22:20, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
Here's some help-go to my preferences-->gadgets-->refTools. It will appear with the other icons above your edit box. That should help.

The correct format is this.

Put intext citations in the <refname> format in your article, and then put a section ==References== in the correct format (with reftools) near the bottom.

The refname should be the author's last name, or if not applicable, the title of the site.
