Although a full-time Internet user since the late 90s, I've been a bit slow to appreciate the usefullness of Wikipedia but now consider it an important source of information and I want to contribute my expertise when relevant.
My background in written communications ranges from being a freelance writer for numerous publications and the Southeast Asia Correspondent for United Press International in the late 80s to being a United Nations staff editor for many years and subsequently a frequent strategic communications consultant for that organization.
