Currently working on (Fall/Winter 2012 project):
Reviewing bio pages on drag queens / female impersonators, based on a rare 1954 book, "Femme Mimics." The author spent three years researching the book. He corresponded directly with many drag queens of the day, thus an excellent source on queens from the 1920's through the early 1950's. The book is loaded with photos - too bad due to copyright they can't be reproduced!
