Hello, I am Robert Liu. I am a neuroscientist trained in physics who now does research in social and sensory processing and learning using animal models. I am a Professor at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. I earned degrees in Physics and Applied Physics at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA before switching into neuroscience as a postdoctoral fellow in the Sloan Program for Theoretical Neurobiology at the University of California at San Francisco. I was trained there with Christoph Schreiner, Kenneth D. Miller and Michael Merzenich.
