The year saw X titles change hands with Y titles defended with Q additional titles scheduled to be defended (for current year articles where cards have been announced). UFC produced events in T countries with 17 major pay-per-view events, two seasons of The Ultimat Fighter and eight other events. Major events A, B and C happened that resulted in M, N and O. UFC started new program D.

The Ultimate Fighter edit

UFC's The Ultimate Fighter series continued with two series starting in 2011. The Ultimate Fighter: Team Lesnar vs. Team dos Santo was the 13th season of the show, featured Welterweight fighters and ran from March 30, 2011 to June 4th, 2011. The finale featured Ramsey Nijem vs. Tony Ferguson with Ferguson winning at 3:54 in the 1st round.

The Ultimate Fighter: Team Bisping vs. Team Miller was the 14th season of the show and was for Featherweight and Bantamweight fighters. It ran from September 11th, 2011 through December 3rd, 2011. The finale had fights for both divisions. The featherweight bout had T.J. Dillashaw vs. John Dodson with Dodson winning at 1:54 in the first round. The bantamweight bout had Diego Branao vs. Dennis Bermudez with Brandau winning at 4:51 in the first round.
