Ran Wei[1] is an actress and fashion model[2]. She was born in Mainland China and moved to California as a teenager and started a modeling career after being discovered while working in a clothing store. Her career quickly took off with three international campaigns for Apple, Benefit Cosmetics, Cisco, Intel, AT&T and Chanel. She landed the cover of California Stylist Magazine[3] and FOH Magazine[4] in 2013 and gained attention in The Wall Street Journal and the Chinese newspaper, World Journal.

Her career started out in the San Francisco Bay Area where she worked and built up a reputation as "The busiest model in San Francisco"[5]. In 2015 she moved to Los Angeles and became even busier.

Considered a "gifted" actress by friends and co-workers, Ran Wei has also trained constantly since she started acting at 22. When auditioning for roles, directors would often write more lines in for her after hiring her or if she didn't fit the role, write a new role just for her.

She has become a goto bridge for Apple doing business in America and China with two of her commercials running in both countries. Her latest campaign has two separate versions, one in English and the other in Mandarin. She was the awards presenter for the 2015 Asians on Film Festival and has maintained her place on the list of Top 40 Asian Actresses to Watch for in Hollywood[6].
