Besides the countless challenge videos, I think that the Bean Bozzle Challenge is something that is popular because of several reasons. One is that there are hashtags relating to the challenge for example #beanbozzled on twitter.[1] Bean Bozzle is a famous game that is "circulated online" and also because of it's popularity, the game is usually sold out.[2] The producers of the Bean Bozzle Challenge had to make the game more readily available due to the high demand.[3] Also, the Challenge is referred as a "huge game this year."[4]/

  • Pokemon Go- Pretty much Pokemon in real life which operates using a device called "Pokemon GO Plus" which is much like a bracelet. It connects to your phone using blue tooth so you don't have to be on your phone to catch Pokemon. The game is different from the rest because in this one, it's more interactive and also instead of being on Nintendo device, this game will be in the app store. Former Google founder, now Niantic and Nintendo are collaborating on this project and their release will be sometime next year.[1 1] Pokemon is usually more known as a children game, but it could possibly maybe attract more adults this way.[1 2]

  • The Angry Birds Movie- the previously popular app called "Angry Birds" has now decided to make a movie that will be released in 2016. Don't know if this is to revive the app or what, but it could become popular being a movie like Smurfs did. The movie is about the daily lives of the angry birds and they all act like they do in their game, for instance the black angry bird(a.k.a TheBomb) blows up when he gets upset. Pretty much about Angry Birds that often get Angry sometimes and what they do when they are angry.[1 3]

  • Burger King's Halloween Burger(Whopper) causes Green poop. Not just dark green, but a bright leprecon green! A few people think the A-1 sauce is the cause to green poop, but another possibility is the food coloring that is used to create the black bun effect. A variety of food coloring is used and among them is Blue num. 1 aka "brilliant blue." The thing about this blue is the intestines cannot absorb this and as a result comes out as green poop. Blue num. 1, when combined with yellow dye can create a green dye. In this case the unabsorbed blue dye was combined with bile and as a result green poop.[1 4] Burger King's has reported that all their ingredients are FDA approved and that there is less than 1% of dye used in their food. Drunk UConn student and Mac and Cheese: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5IcRtftyes

  • Infamous drunk UConn student that demanded bacon jalapeno mac and cheese. The incident happened on a Oct.6 Sunday night, where the student(Luke Gatti) walks in university cafeteria, drunk with a beer in his hand. Gatti demands a bacon jalapeno mac and cheese from the manager, but the manager refuses. The manager asks Gatti multiple times to leave the premises because he had alcohol which was not allowed. The student then assaults the manager and is eventually held down by other staff members until the police arrive. When the police arrived, Gatti cries out and realizes his mistake.[1 5] Gatti is charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass and was also charged with 2 accounts of similar charges last year at UMass. Since then Gatti has issued an apology video to the staff and the people around him for his behaviors.[1 5]

I agree with this, this was quite popular when it came out.  There's even several lists of top Kim Kardashian butt memes.  A few of them include Kim as a Centaur, Homer Simpson and Krisy Kim.[6][7]

I think this is something worth adding, there's over a dozen articles on this video. That shows just how popular it was[8].[9][10]

Adele's "Hello" Song

edit

Adele's Hello song has vastly popular worldwide[11] and has over 300 million views on YouTube.[12] There are multiple vines, mashups and parodies of the song Hello, with Adele having a conversation with someone else.[13] [14] Adele's song is different than what we're used to when regarding pop songs.[15] Hello has been compared to Drake's Hotline Bling with them both representing a phone call.[16]
